Using recordings
without
Steam Jukebox |
|
| Now why would you wan to do that? | |
|
Well, you can if you want. The recordings in the albums are all standard mp3 files encoded at 128K bits/sec, CD quality. You can play these on your computer using any software mp3 player, Windows Media Player is the most common but there are plenty of others. If you want to transfer recordings to an mp3 player, your iPod for example, you can do this using Steam Jukebox. Just add the recordings to a playlist then export the playlist. The files will be renamed to avoid any problems and you can generate a set of notes to print! See this page. Each filename is a three figure number, 001.mp3 etc. To find out what recording each file contains have a look on the CD or DVD. There you will find a text file with a list of captions for all the recordings and a .pdf file with details for each track. To view the pdf file you will need a copy of Acrobat Reader obtainable free from the Adobe web site. If you copy files from different albums be aware that you will find files with the same names in each album. But it's much easier to use Steam Jukebox! |
